What is it?

PilotClock is a self-contained internet appliance that displays your home airport's current weather and aviation metrics on a gorgeous full color display. It features an assortment of quality-of-life customizations. At home on a desk or nightstand, it's the perfect companion for every flying enthusiast. If you have ever wondered if you should get ready to head to the airport, this clock is for you.

While training to be a pilot in the unpredictable New England weather, after driving to the airport, conditions frequently prevented getting into the air. This inspired the thought: wouldn't it be nice to just glance at a device and see immediately how things were looking before leaving? Thus, the idea for PilotClock was born.

There are many aviation applications, tools, and websites that provide extensive imagery and predictions of the weather, but they all take time to dig in and get a sense for what is going on. PilotClock is not a substitute for using those, but it's a wonderful place to start. At-a-glance, you can quickly decide if performing a deeper analysis is worth it.
